The China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals and Chemicals Importers and Exporters (CCCMC) launched the “Responsible Cobalt Initiative”, which has been highly endorsed by the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Now many companies along the industrial chain are actively participating in the initiative to take joint action to promote the reduction of social and environmental risks along the supply chain. The initiative will give priority to addressing the worst forms of child labour.
